USA Hockey provides the foundation for the sport of ice hockey in America as its National Governing Body. USA Hockey’s primary emphasis is on the support and development of grassroots hockey programs. The organization connects the game at every level while promoting a lifelong love of the sport.

AAHA is the state level organization that governs and promotes amateur ice hockey throughout the State of Arizona. AAHA is a non-profit organization who accomplishes its purpose by:

1. Developing and encouraging sportsmanship between all players registered with AAHA and its member Associations for the betterment of their physical and social well-being.
2. Encouraging and improving the standard of ice hockey in the State of Arizona.
3. Organizing competitive leagues at all age and skill levels
4. Organizing and conducting year end state tournaments with the goal of identifying teams to represent the State at the Regional tournaments
5. Conducting player development skills clinics and camps
6. Conducting the spring selection camps for the purpose of selecting players for the Regional player development camp.
